On December 14, 2024, Pavlos Papadopoulos from Limassol will swim 25 kilometers along the Limassol coastline, in aid of the Cyprus Association of Cancer Patients and Friends, PASYKAF. All money raised will support the Services and Programs provided by the Association free of charge, to people with cancer experience and their families throughout Cyprus.
‘My name is Pavlos Papadopoulos and this year I decided to take on a very important challenge. I will swim 25 kilometers to raise money for PASYKAF. This is more than a physical challenge for me. I have lost the most important person for me, my mother, to cancer. I have known first hand, the pain and difficulties that came with this sickness. So, in memory of her, I strike to achieve this challenge. I also want to send a message to my fellow Navy-Seal Paris, who fights hard: You are not alone! None of you are!’
PASYKAF extends its heartfelt gratitude to Pavlos Papadopoulos for his practical support through this challenging effort. Each kilometer of his swim symbolizes a powerful step of hope and support for cancer patients and their families.
