Pavlos Papadopoulos runs 160 kilometers in aid of PASYKAF!

On May 30, 2026, Pavlos Papadopoulos from Limassol will begin a demanding athletic effort, running a total of 160 kilometers to raise funds in support of the Cyprus Association of Cancer Patients and Friends, PASYKAF.

The run will start on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at 18:00 from Limassol Marina, while the finish is expected on Sunday, May 31, around the same time at the same location, after completing the 160-kilometer distance.

All money raised will support the Services and Programs provided by the Association free of charge to people with cancer experience and their families throughout Cyprus.

It is worth noting that Pavlos Papadopoulos has supported PASYKAF before through an athletic initiative, as in December 2024, he swam 25 kilometers along the Limassol coastline in support of the Association.

He states:
‘My name is Pavlos Papadopoulos, and I will be running 160 kilometers to raise funds and support people who are facing cancer. Cancer touches almost every family. Behind every diagnosis, a person is going through one of the most difficult challenges in life. This run is more than a physical challenge. It is a way to stand beside those going through this experience and to support the vital work of PASYKAF for patients and their families. Every donation truly matters. For the absences that can never be replaced.’

PASYKAF expresses its sincere gratitude to Pavlos Papadopoulos for this initiative and for his meaningful support. Through this effort, the power of sport becomes an act of solidarity and support for people with cancer experience and their families.
