The Cyprus Association of Cancer Patients and Friends, PASYKAF, is organizing a Melanoma Symposium titled ‘Enlightening the Future in Melanoma’ on Saturday, November 25, 2023, at the Mediterranean Beach Hotel in Limassol.
This scientific Symposium aims to inform and educate healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, and health scientists, who are involved in or specialize in melanoma research and treatment. The ultimate goal is to enhance the care for people with cancer experience by presenting the latest developments in melanoma diagnosis and therapeutic interventions.
Through presentations and discussions among experts, the objective is to strengthen collaboration among all involved specialties and design the implementation of new therapies and diagnostic tools, leading to an improvement in the quality of healthcare services and, consequently, the patient’s experience.
The Symposium is dedicated to the memory of Marios Argyriou and will conclude with a ceremony honoring his life. At the ceremony, Mrs. Spyroula Argyriou, his mother, and the sculptor Mr. Philippos Giapanis will deliver speeches on behalf of the family. Representatives from PASYKAF, the Cyprus Medical Association of Limassol, and the Ophthalmological and Dermatological Society of Cyprus will also extend their greetings.
Art Creator Svetlana Goncharenko will conclude the Symposium by creating live sand art in her unique and captivating style. A cocktail reception will follow at the hotel.
The official language of the Symposium is English.
