PASYKAF has been caring for people with cancer experience and their families for 39 years. Provides free professional support and palliative care services. It focuses on prevention, research, and the rights of people with cancer experience.
The Palliative Home Care Service provided care to 2,756 patients through 20,769 visits carried out by the Association’s Nursing Team.
Our doctors provided medical care to 977 patients, conducting a total of 5,398 home visits.
The two PASYKAF Palliative Care Centers – EDEM and Archangel Michael – accommodated 425 patients.
Our psychologists supported 1,628 patients and their families through 5,345 sessions.
PASYKAF’s social workers assisted 1,986 patients through 3,277 meetings.
PASYKAF’s physiotherapists provided specialized physiotherapy to 916 patients through 4,345 sessions.
The Patient Transport Service served 521 patients with 3,496 transfers from Paphos, Limassol, Larnaca, and Famagusta.
The Nutritional Support Service guided 622 patients through 1,100 sessions.
Medical equipment worth €500,000 was loaned to patients.
Through the “I Change… I Remain Myself” program, 118 wigs were provided on loan.
The Bereavement Support Service assisted 533 individuals through phone communication and participation in monthly meetings.
A total of 570 individuals took part in self-care presentations and workshops organized by the Association’s Psychosocial Service.
