Alekos Menelaou takes on the Patagonman Xtreme Triathlon in aid of PASYKAF!

Alekos Menelaou, a triathlon athlete from Paphos, will participate in the Patagonman Xtreme Triathlon in Chile, one of the most demanding triathlons in the world. The race includes a 3.8 km swim in the icy waters of the Pacific Ocean, 180 km cycling through the wild landscapes of Patagonia, and a 42.2 km run in mountainous, challenging terrain under extreme weather conditions.

“I am taking on this great challenge for a charitable cause, supporting PASYKAF. My reason for choosing PASYKAF is deeply personal: I lost my father to cancer, and during those difficult three years, the Association was by our side, offering support and hope. With the help of donations, we can turn this great athletic challenge into an act of giving, love, and solidarity,” says Alekos Menelaou.

All money raised will support the Services and Programs provided by the Association free of charge to people with cancer experience and their families throughout Cyprus. Through this participation, Alekos gives back the love and support he received, strengthens the Association’s work, and provides hope to people with cancer experience and their families.

PASYKAF warmly thanks him for his practical support through this difficult and demanding journey.
